The Chicken Salad :)

Ahhh… I survived a week being home alone, while every one in the family were somewhere overseas. Praying for family members was almost like praying for a some fashion chain (London, Shanghai, Singapore, and myself in KL…)

One of the things that annoy me about being home alone, is that my diet really suffers. Mom’s cooking is the best. Being alone means… sandwiches, mostly. And by yesterday, I was really craving for some real food. Chicken Salad, to be more precise. The one from Chili’s, with heaps of vege and crispy fried chicken white meat.

I ended up having McDonalds. Don’t ask. No, that’s not real food.

Today I went for a full day workshop on game software production. It’s a free workshop by MDC. Lunch was provided. Guess what they served? You got it. Salad. Lots of it. Chicken too. Really tasty ones. Not only that, there was smoked salmon. AND prawn & seafood salad. I love salmon & prawns. And that’s just the starters.

Looking back now, I see why the Bible says, “seek first the kingdom of God, and ALL these things shall be added unto you”.

So, just want to say a big THANK YOU LORD, I just had the bestest chicken salad added unto me! :D And for bringing my family members back safely too. But especially for the chicken salad. It’s these details, the “polish”, that let’s me really know God truly knows my thoughts, and really cares.
